This Umeshu is produced by Yagi Sake Brewery from Nara Prefecture highlighting locally grown Japanese Ume fruit in combination with a shochu base from their own label. Torotoro Umeshu translates as “thick plum wine” and gives you a hint that the rich fruit pulp of ume fruit is included in this drink and not filtered out. This delicious drink is produced by Yagi Sake brewery, who focus on producing high-quality sake using the ancient “Bodaimoto” technique which adds another layer of flavour and depth to this unique Umeshu which has become the flagship Umeshu for the brewery.
