Made with the locally grown Sasanishiki rice this sake expresses some muted dried fruit and nougat aromas and opens on the palate with some baked apple, berry and nutty almond flavours. A pleasing pithy bitterness quickly emerges and creates a tangy and refreshing tail reminiscent of daikon oroshi and this sake is destined to be a great match alongside foods from the grill.
