A glass full of gold. Deep toasted grain, shoyu, raisin, dried fig, shiitake mushroom and hay aromas showing the aged maturity of this sake. Made in the 2016 brewing year this sake was released from the brewery in 2021. A smooth, dry, full-bodied sake that has a velvety texture that coats the mouth with delicious flavours of maple and molasses, and savoury toasted bacon umami accompanied by gentle acidity. Long lingering finish reminiscent of amontillado sherry.
