This is a sake intentionally made to have subdued aromas with an emphasis on flavour and food pairing with white meat and seafood dishes. In the glass it has a gentle grape and ripe fruit nose and a velvety rounded mouthfeel which spreads satisfyingly throughout the mouth. The back half of this sake experience has well-defined umami/savoury notes, good acidity and an almost salty mineral edge on the finish. A flexible and natural pairing with fish and seafood, served in glassware or pottery sake cups.
