From the moment you open this black gourd bottle you know there is going to be something special happening with this luxurious sake. Tropical notes, smothered in humidity with aromas of vine flowers seep out of the bottle. This is one of those mega sake which is all about expressing the flavours of the “king of sake rice” – Yamada Nishiki. There is overt stone fruit and nashi pear on the palate, coupled with white blossom and incense. A refined glass full of pure class, great balance, full flavoured and delivering an amazing drinking experience. 

This sake is from the treasured middle-pressing fraction which occurs at the end of sake fermentation, it is called Nakadori. It is known for having a very balanced flavour and is often said to be the truest representation of the brewed sake tank and the ideal glass of sake that the brewer wants you to enjoy.
