This is a Tokubetsu Junmai Sake highlighting the oldest heirloom rice in Japan, the famed Omachi, which is cultivated locally in Yamaguchi. The rice crop is grown organically without the use of pesticides and true to Yamaguchi style - female master brewer Mie Abe and her small team have hand-crafted a rich sake, intense, firm bodied and full of great tastes.
Think of botanicals with ripe kiwifruit, feijoa and green melon rind flavours and serve this
chilled down to tighten the mouthfeel or let it warm and relax to room temperature to mellow out the impression.
