This unique aperitif, liqueur was created using Kurata Black Pepper which is said to be the world’s best pepper. This pepper is grown by, and takes its name from Japanese man Hironobu Kurata, who revived the market for Cambodian pepper trade after it was decimated during the Pol Pot regime. The pepper is farmed with organic techniques and no pesticide use and has found a major import market in Japan.
This is a one of a kind pepper shochu which is a vibrant, spicy mix of black pepper and Honkaku shochu. The warmth and distinctive pepper flavour spreads across the palate after drinking. A little goes a long way for this shochu it is an instant uplift for a cocktail recipe.
The brewers recommend drinking this on the rocks or with a 1:2 ratio of soda.
