Mikawa, Aichi, is famous for its prominent brewing industry amongst wider Japan leading Aizakura’s Yoshinobu to create this uniquely crafted mirin. Yoshinobu found his Grandfather’s recipe to recreate this mirin that is uncharacteristically darker in colour, aged longer, and profoundly more richer and intense in umami and sweetness than most conventional mirin. Whilst commonly used as a cooking ingredient, this mirin can be used for cocktails. Those wanting to experiment with a mix of umami and sweetness to unlock a whole new level of flavours are encouraged to take the smooth plunge of this mirin. Aizakura recommend a soda mix or if you’re feeling more adventurous a Sangria!
All ingredients are made chemical and pesticide free using naturally cultivated rice.
