Having spent over two centuries creating premium sake, Juhachi Zakari Shuzo has cultivated sake with a fine balance of gentle fruity fragrance and full rich flavour, and this Junmai Daiginjo is an excellent example of that. Produced in the Setouchi area of Kojima, Kurashiki City, Juhachi Zakari Asahi Junmai Daiginjo is the result of a brewing process, at low temperatures, to carefully draw out just the right amount of sweetness from Asahi rice. This results in an elegant mellow taste and fruity aroma that complements most Japanese cuisine but also goes well with fruit dishes. Best served chilled, or at room temperature, this sake is made to be a perfect addition to the fresh seafood readily available from the Seto Inland Sea at its doorstep.
