A golden colour in the glass hints at the maturity this sake has. Produced in the 2016 brewing year it was released in 2021. Aromas of dried fruit, golden syrup, mushroom, malt, and tamari. A medium-bodied sake which is smooth and dry and tastes of dried persimmon, raisin, and roasted hazelnuts. Good acidity on the finish lightens the impact of this sake and it’s wonderful with grilled meats, scorched seafood, and braised dishes with rich flavours. Also, a great pairing alongside cheese and fruit platters.
