An homage to renowned Edo period artist, Ogawa Usen, the label on the bottle features Usen’s Kappa illustrations, arguably one of his most famous works. Usen believed the kappa to be symbolic of freedom in the realm of nature and that aptly describes this Junmaiginjo as well. Possessing a rich taste with a clear aftertaste reminiscent of grapes and pears, this is a Sake best served cold, as it refreshes with just the right dose of umami flavour.
