This is a limited edition sake released by Katsuyama Sake Brewery as part of their annual Lunar New Year series. True to tradition and the 336 year heritage of this renowned brewery this is a premium Junmai Daiginjo sake with inviting, lifted aromas, impeccable balance, structure and a delicious taste.
Serve chilled in a thin rimmed tulip shaped glass to appreciate the swirling 24 karat gold flecks with white peach, Fuji apple and Japanese nashi pear flavours, mingled with the mellow sweetness of steamed white rice and an emerging fine-grained umami. A smooth silky texture, defined medium dry finish and pristine clarity encourages you to keep on pouring.
